Board of Assessment Review

The Board of Assessment Review will meet on Wednesday, May 29th,
2024 between the hours of 4 PM and 8 PM at the TOWN OF BENSON TOWN HALL to hear
and examine all complaints in relation to assessments, on the application of any person
believing himself to be aggrieved. Complaint forms are required to be completed and are
available at the Assessor’s office and the Town Clerk’s office. The Board of Review, according
to Law, can leave your assessment as is, or lower it.

NOTICE 4/11/24
The Town of Benson Town Clerk will be out of State from 4/14/24 to 5/4/24 due to family medical
issue. Her Deputy Clerk Elizabeth VanEps can be reached at 518-863-2885. You can also call
Supervisor Phil Snyder at 518-774-4969.
Minutes of the 4/16/24 meeting will not be processed until the week of 5/5/24 upon Town Clerk’s
return. Any resident not attending the meeting who wishes to review the recording of the minutes
can do so by appointment only with the Deputy Clerk.
